Join the world-class BRIDG team as our facilities manager. The facilities manager will be responsible for maintaining operations for the 109,000 square-foot facility, with cleanrooms operating at class 100 and class 10,000 environments.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shift. Some nights and weekends may be required.

 

Physical Requirements: Hearing, sight, speech, hand and finger capabilities, and physical mobility are essential. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a cleanroom environment.

 

Facilities Manager Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

The Facilities manager will manage the full scope of facility operations, facility engineering, and security. This team member will operate and maintain the facility using best known practices for a 109,000 square-foot facility, with cleanrooms operating at class 100 and class 10,000 environments.

 

Develop and manage Facilities CapEx and Operations Budgets

 

  • Track monthly costs of utilities, investigate changes in costs or other irregularities
  • Identify, plan, supervise, assist, and review benefits of cost savings projects

Oversee repair and preventative maintenance of facilities and equipment

 

  • Establish a system to pro-actively manage efforts to minimize risk and to achieve and maintain compliance with Federal, state and local and internal regulatory requirements
  • Manage suppliers and vendors including but not limited to gas/chemical, waste, emergency Generator, Central utility plant, RO/DI Water plant, utilities, security, and building management systems

Supervise facilities maintenance technicians

 

  • Provide job supervision/mentoring and training to facilities engineering and technical building operations personnel
  • Identify and drive improvements in business systems & processes that reduce waste, continuously improve the quality of operations while achieving cost reductions through efficiency improvement efforts

Maintain, program and operate facilities automation/controls including:

 

  • BMS (Building Management Systems), monitor PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and facility SPC charts
  • Toxic Gas Monitoring System (TGMS), monitoring, maintaining and programming
  • BAS (Building Automation System) including HVAC, lights, fire and safety devices and systems

Work closely with environmental, health and safety team to ensure performance provide leadership to achieve EHS objectives

 

  • Attend training in hazmat response, first aid, firefighting, respiratory protection, chemical handling, spill response and cleanup, LOTO, and respond to any emergencies
  • Work with EH&S manager to plan responses to incidents and procedure
  • Act as ERT lead during incident response, confirm procedures are followed, assist with implementation of new procedures, and coordinate third party response
  • Arrange employee training for the use of aerial lifts and forklifts as required
  • Assist EH&S with requirements, inspections, and audits from regulatory agencies, including DHS, DEP, EPA, TWA, etc.
  • Assist EH&S with creating procedures for chemical handling and storage, security protocols, responding to emergencies, etc.
  • Responsible for 24/7 building emergency response

Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory and contractual reports

 

  • Prepare and maintain company’s 5-year facility plans
  • Work with facilities personnel to ensure compliance with equipment PM schedule and recording
  • Ensures that CMMS system is utilized for all facilities operations and maintenance activities
